Room Settings
We have 5 rooms within our setting and each room is age appropriate to accommodate and cater for their physical and developmental needs. Each room has a separate garden area which is geared to provide stimulating, activities planned around the six areas of learning and development. Your child will only progress to the next stage when they are emotionally and developmentaly ready, this will be discussed with you and, when you are happy, a transition period will begin to ensure a smooth and comfortable move.
The Baby Room
Our Baby Room caters for a maximum of 9 babies, this room has been carefully planned in order to provide the children with a safe and stimulating learning environment. We will offer you and your child the opportunity to attend settling in sessions for a month prior to starting. This is a valuable experience for both you and your child. Our babies benefit from carefully chosen equipment that challenges their learning and promotes their all round development. The activities are carefully planned around the EYFS framework. The room also comprises of its own private garden that has been carefully developed, we provide the babies with water proof suits to ensure they can explore the outdoors in all weathers.
The Tiny Tots Room
This room is designed to provide your children with a stimulating, safe, relaxing environment to learn through play. New experiences will be carefully planned according to individual needs. All activities are planned around the birth to five framework (EYFS). The Tiny Tots also have a door leading off to a large well equipped garden area this is shared with the toddler children. This encourages the Tiny Tots to interact with slightly older children, helping to smooth the transition to the Toddler Room.
The Toddler Room
By the age of 2, your child will have progressed to the Toddler Room where they will experience a new environment which is designed to stimulate and extend their learning. They will have the opportunity to engage in plenty of free flow play as well as carefully planned activities endeavouring to enhance their learning. Again, toddlers have the advantage of a door leading on to the spacious garden area that is equipped to cover the six areas of learning.

By the time your child has reached 2 3/4 your child will have moved into our foundations stage unit this consists of 2 large spacious rooms and a lovely garden area overlooking the farmers field where the children love to watch the tractors.
Room 1 - Tweenies: This room has been carefully developed to ensure the children can freely access the 6 areas of learning at all times, in addition to this staff plan focused activities appropriate to their development. The Tweenie room has a door leading on to the garden area that is shared with preschool children. The toilets are easily accessible to help support toilet training within this unit.
Room 2 - Pre-School: The term after your child turns three
they will more into our newly refurbished pre-school room which consists of
a large, spacious, well planned learning environment that again promotes the
six areas of learning throughout. All equipments is easily accessible to all
children and is displayed in an attractive way which encourages the children
to investigate and explore through play.
The pre-school children are provided with a number of adult led activities planned around the topic and the individual child's interest. The children are encouraged to be independent in all they do as this will give them the confidence when they need when they leave us to attend school. We provide a session for each day that covers letters and sounds. Our foundation stage unit also has the added advantage of a free flow indoor/outdoor environment which is also planned around the six areas of learning and development.
